Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Ewig wedding planning platform operated by Life Event Senthuran Paramananthan, Pfändwiesenstrasse 15, 8152 Opfikon, Switzerland ("we", "us", "Ewig"). By accessing or using Ewig, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Service description

Ewig is a wedding planning platform that provides couples with a dedicated planner, a planning dashboard (countdown, guest management, tasks, timeline, messaging, documents), and access to vetted vendors. The service is available exclusively in Switzerland and all prices are in CHF.

2. Account and access

To use Ewig, you may need to create an account using your email address. Authentication is handled via email-based one-time passcode (OTP). You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with your account and for all activity under your account.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use Ewig.

3. Packages, booking and payment

Ewig offers planning packages at the prices displayed at the time of booking. All prices are in CHF and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. By completing a booking, you agree to the selected package and its price.

Payment processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We accept major credit and debit cards, and TWINT. We do not store your payment credentials. Individual TWINT transactions are limited to CHF 5,000 per the payment provider.

Deposits

Depending on the payment method chosen, a deposit of 20% of the package price may be required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is invoiced separately and due within 30 days.

4. Refund and cancellation policy

We understand plans can change. The following applies to cancellations:

• Within 14 days of booking (and before planning services have commenced): Full refund of all amounts paid.
• After 14 days but before planning has actively begun: Refund of the package price minus an administrative fee of CHF 250.
• After planning services have commenced: Refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis, considering the work already completed by your planner and vendors. The deposit may be non-refundable at this stage.

To request a cancellation or refund, contact us at legal@ewig.app. Refunds are processed via the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. TWINT refunds are typically processed within minutes but may take up to 180 days in exceptional cases.

5. Rentals

Ewig offers wedding and event rentals (decor, furniture, accessories) through the platform. Rental orders are subject to availability and the rental terms displayed at checkout. Rental items remain the property of Ewig or the rental partner and must be returned in the condition received.

6. Vendors

Vendors listed on Ewig are independent businesses vetted by our team. While we take care in selecting vendor partners, Ewig is not a party to any agreement between you and a vendor. We do not guarantee the performance of any vendor. Your planner will help coordinate vendor services, but the vendor is ultimately responsible for delivering their agreed services.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use Ewig to:

• Upload harmful, illegal, defamatory or infringing content
• Attempt to access systems, accounts or data not intended for you
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the platform without permission
• Circumvent any security or access controls

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, with or without notice.

8. Intellectual property

The Ewig brand, design, code, and technology are owned by Life Event Senthuran Paramananthan or its licensors. You retain ownership of any content you upload (photos, documents, guest data). By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store, display and process your content solely to operate and improve Ewig.

9. Limitation of liability

Ewigis provided "as is" and "as available". We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for the acts or omissions of third-party vendors.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases. Data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms or the use of Ewig shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Opfikon, Switzerland.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Ewig after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will notify you by email.
